Whether for a website, press kit, social media profile, or book cover, all authors need a short bio that showcases their personality and engages reader curiosity about the person behind the book. Unfortunately, writing about ourselves is sometimes uncomfortable and can be quite difficult. Let me help! I’ve created and edited bios for dozens of authors, as well as speakers and entertainers. I start by creating a long-version bio for you to use on your website and/or in your press kit. I then refine it down to the appropriate length for a book cover. Once those two elements are complete, I craft a shorter, succinct version to fit in the bio section of your social media profiles.
